Pluto's Absolution

Pluto's

Pluto’s Absolution is a Top-down 2D action game in which you control Pluto.
It revolves about the demoting which Pluto went through in 2006, going from a planet to a dwarf planet. In order to get his status back, he decides to fight the globally space agency the NOSE and the Solar System.

Mechanics
You can move with WASD or direction arrows.
You can hold shift to move slower (in order to dodge bullets)
You can shoot a volcano which you can rotate depending where you put your mouse.

Enemy distribution
In this game there are normal enemies (the NOSE & meteorites), sub-bosses (Solar System planets) and a boss (the Sun).

Goal
There are 9 waves of enemies, with randomized spawns in the first 8 and the 9th being the boss battle against the Sun. There is a chance you will fight against a planet in each wave. After finishing the Sun, you complete the game.

Credits
All the assets are self-made, including the audio (the songs are a bit wacky), but it was one of the first times we worked with audio so I guess it’s fine.
